Our History
Dhamac
Group started in May 2002 as a limited liability
company specializing in business consulting, sponsorship and logistics support services.
The company was able to secure a contract with Northrop Grumman Corp. (NGC)
as a commercial consulting company on 21st November 2002. The company also won a contract for providing Sponsorship and Logistics Services to
Northrop Grumman personnel working at Al Udeid Airbase in the State of Qatar.
As Northrop Grumman (NG) needed to extend its
contract to logistics support, on May 2003, Dhamac Group was awarded a contract to provide Sponsorship
and Logistics support for Northrop Grumman Engineering Staff working in the State of Qatar.
At the present time, Dhamac Group is working with the
logistics division of Northrop Grumman Technical Services (NGTS) to recruit skilled Third Country Nationals (TCN) to support
(NGTS) skilled labor needs in the State of Qatar. The company has deployed batches of TCNs that are now performing work at
Al Udeid Airbase with Vehicle Maintenance Department of (NGTS.)
Apart
from Northrop Grumman, Dhamac Group significantly broadened the extent of its sponsorship services to other multinational
companies in Qatar and the nearby Gulf countries. Smartronix, Inc started to tap Dhamac sponsorship services in 2003 with
employees working at Al Udeid Airbase and Lockheed Martin started to obtain sponsorship under Dhamac Group in the year 2005.
Subsequently, other foreign companies such as L-3 Communications
(L-3 Titans -IS and L-3 Services Inc. - EITS), Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), Centurum Information
Technology (CIT), and Dataline LLC had chosen Dhamac Group to provide sponsorship and logistics support services for
their employees stationed in Qatar.
